The fields were saturated but the weather more than cooperated for one of the best Oak Hill experiences yet. The great thing about the festival is witnessing performances from both near and far. That and staying up all night to noodle on a stringed instrument. Highlights were Aoife O'Donovan, Nora Jane Struthers, Tim O'Brien with Darrell Scott, Nickel Creek (surprisingly) and Jim Lauderdale at the Grass Roots stage and backed up on the big stage by Della Mae.
